Dying at Home

Reclaiming the right to die at home is becoming important to many of us, and Down to Earth Funerals can assist you in facilitating this. We can assist to keep the departed at home with the use of a cooling bed for adults, or Manaaki mats for babies and children.

This allows families to care for and hold vigil for their deceased loved one. In some circumstances, all preparations for the end-of-life celebration and required paperwork for burial or cremation can be organised whilst your loved one is still in their home.
