Children’s Funerals

We believe that losing your child is possibly the most difficult and tragic event of all human experience, and we can only imagine that the grief is overwhelming. To add a financial burden to that grief is something we would like to remove, so we offer our services by donation.

There are some costs for external services such as cremation costs that we ask that you cover but we include the following for all children under 18 by donation:

• A beautiful service for your baby or child in our chapel with upto 40 people.

• Catering for up to 40 people (finger food plus tea/coffee/refreshments)

• A professional celebrant

• Use of our hearse for any transportation of your child or baby

• A fitting coffin for your child or baby

• A memory box

• 40 memorial cards

• A slideshow with up to 40 photos

• A beautiful spray of flowers

• A committal candle

• Washing and dressing of your child or baby, either by us or we can assist you in doing this.

• All mortuary work

External costs include:

• Death certificate and registration

• Cremation or burial costs

*For your further information in regard to donations: If we have any money left over from your child’s funeral from donations, we have a separate account that this money will be deposited into and used for future children’s funerals for those who are less financially fortunate.
